Utah or Bust: A Photo Journal

South Dakota... Packing Day
93*F

Nebraska... Moving Day One
90*F

Colorado... Day Two
34*F

I had to stop at a Wal-Mart in Denver and buy sweatshirts for everyone.
We hadn't anticipated snow! I mean, if South Dakota was warm then it seemed pretty safe to assume anything South of us would be too.

It took us twice as long as it should have to get through Colorado... We were so excited about finally making it to Utah that we had to stop.

Utah...the destination
70*F

The car was attached to the Uhaul and got rained on the ENTIRE way.

Our new home.

How miserable! I hate road trips to top it off, a miserable road closure....
Watching this gives me knots in my stomach. Sure miss ya!

Road trips are like claustrophobia to me. Trapped in a confined space with no way out.

If you'll notice in the photo I'm about the hottest thing this side of the back hills of Alabama. :)

That reminds me of when I was engaged to my husband (who has mostly lived in warms state. FL., TX, AZ) he came to visit me in MT and it snowed on the 4th of July! he still talks about how weird MT weather is. That would have totally freaked me driving in snow with my kids. But I have lived in AZ 18 years now so I'm not used to the snow thing anymore. Glad you made it to UT safely :)

@Gr8Life a little panic did enter my mind.

So let me get this straight, you grew up in MT and now live in AZ?

I've lived in both places! We resided in Livingston for about a year before moving to SD.... and the summers were surreal, we loved the summers.

yes I'm from MT.
I lived in Livingston for a short while I love Sacajawea Park! I wish they had parks like that here in AZ.
