Of Interest

This week has been a week of completely irrelevant posts... that tends to make me feel like a bad blogger. Like I'm just sure that you guys have better things to be doing than read my irrelevance. However, I'm practically chipper enough as to not want to blog.

::gasp:: That is an absolute first for me.

I need some topics. Does anyone want to suggest some things for me to write about? A topic perhaps? An essay (I haven't done one of those in a while).

Anything at all! :)

As for something of value for you guys. Listen to this fantastically chipper song that just fits my mood for the day.

I really like that song. I liked it when I saw Juno. Thanks. My kids were dancing to it too (too bad they have my sense of rhythm).

Hmmmm. Strange request: "I need some topics."
Why don't you check with Bob and Doug McKenzie. They were always looking for topics. They live up here in the Great White North, that isn't always white. (It's only white about five months a year.)
If I see the boys of SCTV, I'll tell them that your looking for them, and want some topics.
Hey, there's a topic — hunting for Bob and Doug in the Great White North, trying to get topics. I'm sure you could build a lot of adventures on that theme!
But maybe not.
Anyhow, blessings and Bear hugs as you continue on your adventure. I hope lots of topics find you.

Do a "This I Believe" essay. You pick one or two of the beliefs that have guided your life and you write a short essay about what they are and why you feel so strongly about them...that kind of thing.

One I really liked was "Always go to the funeral". This lady's dad had taught his kids that you always go to funerals of family and friends to be a support to the family of the deceased. She now uses it as a mantra in life reminding her to do the things that aren't fun but need doing.
