College

I'm going to go to college. Full time even.

I haven't gone to school full time since I was 19 years old.

The problem is that I have these dang kids that I need to find a full-time sitter for. I also have a husband thats looking high and low for a job anywhere he can find it. Plus there's the issue of exactly when I'm going to manage to do any homework I acquire... between chores, kids schoolwork, dinner, running a house yada yada yada.

It seems as if maybe going to school at 19 was slightly simpler but maybe not as exciting and fulfilling as it is now.

You'll find a way to do it. Tons of people do. I am glad you are going though. I am always surprised that you, John, Ammon and Darien didn't finish. You all love learning and are very intelligent. Just surprises me. Way to go!

Hmm, your list is exactly the reason I haven't gone back. There's a daycare just a couple of houses up the street from me. It's Carla Gray and her daughter. Don't know if you know Sister Gray. She's a primary teacher. I haven't really heard anything about it, but they're busy. I guess that means people like them. Lots of the school teachers use them. Have you checked into the college's daycare? I would offer, but I'm crazy. You don't want me watching your kids.

If you really want a degree you'll do whatever you have to do. One of my sisters is back in school with three young kids. It's hard, but she's doing it and loving it. If I were you I'd invest in some quality earplugs for studying at home, but libraries are nice and quite places to do homework. That just leaves the childcare issue, but I'm sure you'll sort it out.

Out of curiosity what sort of vision problem were you having corrected?

@Cari....

I'm taking an Art History class just because you told me to take something I'd enjoy. The advisor had me all signed up for boring stuff so I went in and changed it over. I thought about taking 'Basic Auto' but it was at a super bad time of the week. So I'm doing Art History instead!

And, I'm getting LASIK surgery today. That's the vision thing. :)

Good for you!!! All the fun classes will count...especially if they widen your mental vision!!! That is always priceless. :) Happy Surgery...Happy Christmas and Happy New new new Year!!!
