Ralexwin + Cannwin

1. Where did you first meet your husband?
In my apartment the first day I moved in, I was wearing a pink spaghetti strapped tank and he was wearing red shorts. He was also dating my roommate (for about 2 weeks) and I remember thinking 'I wonder if this is the man I'm going to marry?' We hit it off as friends immediately and talked about all our relationship ups and downs for a few months before anything progressed. Although one of my roommates was convinced he liked me, I didn't think he did.

2. What was the first thing you said to your husband?
Hmm, I don't know. Probably "Hi, nice to meet you."

3. Where was your first date?
Tough one, cause remember we were friends for a while before we dated. I'd have to say it's a toss up--we had Spanish class together and we used to make this bet that whoever got the lower test score had to buy the other one lunch and he always got the lower test scores *snicker* so he was constantly buying me lunch. BUT the first time we held hands was Halloween of 1999, so maybe that was our first date (it was up on Kolob Mountain at his family ranch, and I was very scared because I'd just seen that movie 'Blair Witch Project' so I pretty much clung to him)

4. Where was your first kiss?
On the Dixie State College (although it wasn't a state college back then) Football Field. We were sitting there one night and he just leaned in and kissed me. Then he informed me I'd made it too easy. About half an hour later we 'broke-up'. LOL.

Our other 'first kiss' was in December, and we had a game going that you had to hide in the bushes from the other person and if they found you within 30 seconds then you had to kiss them, and if they didn't then they had to kiss you. (It was just me and him) hehehe. I think he played games that gave him an advantage.

5. Did you have a long or short engagement/courtship?
It was a little over a year from when we met to when we got enganged. It was 4 weeks from engagement to wedding. About a third of our courtship was long distance, he moved to Phoenix and I stayed up in St. George.

6. Where did you get engaged?
Lol, I love this question. I was at work.... he was in Phoenix somewhere. Ralexwin proposed over the phone, and it went something like this, "Fine. You want to get married!? Then lets get married."

7. Where did you get married?
Ogden, UT

8. How did the reception go?
It was fine. A small affair, not many people. We opened our wedding presents there, which was, at times, mortifying. The cake was delicious.

9. How was the honeymoon?
*sigh* We didn't have a honeymoon. Ralexwin had to be back to school the next Monday. Our 'honeymoon' was 4 years later when he came home on leave from Iraq and we went to Alaska for 2 weeks.
